Sarah White

Playing the part of Lily.
Sarah trained at Rose Bruford College. Her theatre credits include Derby Days (Liverpool Royal Court), Vignettes (Hope Mill Theatre), The Salon and Salon 2 (St Helens Theatre Royal and The Epstein Theatre), The Netherley Hillbillies (Liverpool Royal Court), Janine And Jessie (532), The Naked Truth (national tour) A Day In The Death of Joe Egg (Nottingham Playhouse) Drama Queen (The Unity) Mum’s The Word (national tour)
The Morris (Liverpool Everyman)
Television credits include This City is Ours (BBC) Coronation Street (ITV) Moving On (BBC) Doctors (BBC) Edge of Heaven (ITV) Overlanders (BBC) and Brookside (C4), in which she played Bev McLaughlin for many year’s. Sarah’s film credits include Ammonite, Gods Own Country and Tom Cat.


Lynne Fitzgerald

Lynne Fitzgerald is a celebrated Liverpool actress, writer, and director, best known for creating the hit comedy quartet Desperate Scousewives. She has written over ten stage plays and performed in many acclaimed touring productions across the UK, including Twopence to Cross the Mersey and By the Waters of Liverpool. A former stand-up comedian, Lynne is admired for her impeccable timing and expressive comedy style. Her work captures the heart, humour, and spirit of Merseyside life. A true powerhouse of northern theatre, she continues to entertain audiences with her wit, warmth, and authenticity.


Sam Alton

Samantha is a Liverpudlian actress who’s been acting professionally since 2013. Though the majority of her credits come from stage, she’s also; filmed for TV commercials, corporate, short films & pilots, recorded voiceover work for Audio plays/ animation and more recently, started standup comedy. Sam is delighted to be returning to the stage, touring as Desperate Scousewife ‘Nessa’ alongside co-star, writer and director Lynne Fitzgerald after playing the role in recent years (2024). Other notable recent credits include; Leading lady ‘Annie’ in Irish Annie’s (UK Tour, 2025), ‘Louise’ in Under The Mersey Moon (2025), ‘Helena’ in Hammer & Helena (2024), Ruby in Buckled (2024), ‘Fiona’ in By The Waters Of Liverpool (UK Tour, 2023)and ‘Kitty’ (Catherine Wilkinson) in Kitty, Queen of the Washhouse (2019-2024).


Jennifer Airey

Playing Trisha this Autumn.
Jennifer Airey began her acting career with the Everyman Youth Theatre in the mid-1990’s, progressing to professional work in 2009. A versatile performer with a natural flair for comedy. Jennifer has developed a strong reputation for her engaging stage presence, comic-timing and ability to connect with an audience.

In 2017, Jennifer took the decision to pursue a full-time career in music, performing professionally as Cherry Bomb. Since then, she has built an extensive career as a live vocalist, performing to audiences across a wide range of professional engagements.
Jennifer is delighted to return to. Professional theatre with Desperate Scousewives, bringing together her experience as an actor, comedian and live performer in a role that allows her to showcase her distinctive comic talent.


Leslie Longley

Playing Jay this Autumn.
Leslie is a local Liverpool actor. He studied at The Liverpool Community College, later known as The City of Liverpool College.
In 2016 he graduated from ICAT (Independant Centre for Actors Trainingg) in Bolton and then a year later in 2017 graduated from The University of Salford with BA Hons Degree in Media & Performance. He was fortunate whilst at Salford to be one of the first people to perform at The New Adelphi Theatre, Leslie has been lucky enough to perform up and down the country in the last couple of years in some wonderful theatres.

His credits include “Bobby Dykins in Julia’s Song, Stanley in Country Dreaming”, “Fletcher in Porridge”, “Dave Pappy Stone/ Big Bopper in Buddy Holly Lives”, “Porky the Postman in Irish Annie’s” “Mike/ Fries Man in Under the Mersy Moon”, “Steve in 97+”, “Dreemluva in We will always have Bootle”, “Keith Vickers in “Imagine If…” “Billy in Lovesong”, “Charlie in Under the Concrete, Waiting”, “Demetrius in A Midsummer Nights Dream"
Other credits include indie Horror “Boarhog” portraying the role of “Ricky” and Victorian drama documentary “The Last Launch” playing “Young Henry Robinson” the show is due to have it’s premiere in December.

Bill Elms
Producer

Bill Elms has worked in the theatre industry both locally and nationally for 35 years, including 20 years working with the UK’s biggest theatre companies in ticketing and marketing positions. Bill has co-produced many successful productions including Epstein: The Man Who Made The Beatles, Jerry Springer -The Opera, Irish Annie’s, Something About Simon, Something About George, Something About Lennon, Twopence to Cross the Mersey, By The Waters Of Liverpool, Lennon’s Banjo, The Ruby Slippers, Blood Runs Deep and Twice Nightly. Bill has also set-up his own theatrical production company Bill Elms Productions presenting shows such as Masquerade by Laura Lees, Swan Song by Jonathan Harvey, 2Gorgeous4U by Mark Davies Markham and Judy & Liza Musical by Emma Dears.
